MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 9, 2005 MEETING
Unit 180 board met at the clubhouse February 9, 2005. Meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m.

Lynn Logan met with Grand Casino management and the following was discussedÉ. 25% off food, The club could bring in our own food, cokes, chips, dips into the Hospitality room.
Lynn presented the clubs balance sheet, also expenses regarding postage and mail outs for example mailings to Vero Beach, Fl brought in 40 people. There were 39 females and 1 male. Discussed schedule and budget for next years tournament.
Motion made by Don seconded by Elaine to host the Gulf Coast tournament dates set for January 23-29 2006.
Walter discussed the Regional plan. A deal with District 10 every year to split profits and the money prorated. District 10 has a committee to make sure the tournament has a good schedule and entertainment Lynn was given board approval to draw up the budget and present to District 10 officials.
Directors class for next year will be from 9 a.m.- 12 noon on Friday and Saturday.There will be no charge due to scheduling problems this year.
The teacher accredited school is a 10 hour course and will be given on the following days and time. Tuesday 1-5 p.m. Wednesday 7-10 a.m. and Thursday 9 a.m.-12 noon.
Jack Sullivan is contact person for the Directors course.
Many complimentary letters have been received about the tournament four from New York.
Old BusinessÉ..
Arun Limaye with drew his offer to purchase the Club House @ $1.00 over the other offer.
The status for the sale of the property to Josh Bergsom had some break down ÒDead in the waterÓ However there could be some interest at a later date. Asked us to stay in touch, a Texas group may be interested.
Richard discussed roof repair. There is Elasto MeritÉSteam clean, Spray coating, Long sheets not rubber with a 10 year guarantee available Richard is to contact these people for more details and information.
Walter called a CPA firm about the clubs tax position as $120,000 received through the year The current charge of $450.was about half what they would charge.
Motion made by Polly seconded by Elaine to have Mr. Richard Logan to do the Clubs tax return.. Motion carried.
New Business:
There are four new life masters in the club. Nancy Carpentier, Marion Clerc, Twyla Hall, and Paul Watkins.
Motion made by Polly seconded by Lynn for their party to be deferred until March.
Senior game Monday February 28, 2005 @ 1:00 p.m.
Motion made by Lynn seconded by Don to adjourn Motion passed, Meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
