A special meeting of the Board of Directors was held at the clubhouse December 2, 2003 to discuss finances.

Attendees: Walter Lewis, Richard Bryant, Lynne Logan, Diane Oldham, Don Hopes, Polly Bridges, Elaine Norcross, Rebecca McMichael, Jack Sullivan, Jan Hunt, Jim Crowe and Frank Battaile.

The meeting was called to order by the President.

Lynne reported a loss of revenue over the last three years of approximately $4,700. She then presented the following information:

1. Balance Sheet as of November 30, 2003
2. Profit & Loss for all games held in the clubhouse for the period January through November 2003
3. Table count comparison for the years 2001, 2002 and 2003

Following extensive discussion on how to improve the Unit’s financial situation, Don moved to increase the table fees for all games held in the clubhouse from $7.00 to $9.00 effective January 1, 2004. Jack seconded and the motion was unanimously approved.

The upcoming Regional was briefly discussed with suggestions on filling the Partnership and Registration chair positions. The biggest problem faced is how to do the Daily Bulletin. Several ideas were suggested and Walter will investigate.

Polly will handle the Registration Desk. Walter will ask past chairmen for Partnerships to help. Jan has contacted a group of adults who will handle the daytime caddy duties. The Catholic School will again handle the nighttime and weekend duties.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
